Hi guys, as much as I love great mechanical watches, I also respect and like the older G-Shock models.
Recently I restored an old Casio G-Shock DW-5600C.

The DW-5600C was released around 1987 and was manufactured to 1996.
Pebble smartwatch on black nato strap
I recently got my Pebble smart watch, and I want to share a few first impressions of the Pebble.
The Pebble is incredibly light, and even makes plastic G-shocks feel almost heavy.
The included strap is from rather thin rubber, and does not feel very comfortable to me at least. The great thing is that the watch uses 22 mm lugs, so you can use almost any 22 mm strap you can find, to change the look and feel of the watch.
Stowa recently announced a new Flieger model the TO1 .
This new model differs a bit from the classic flieger models from Stowa, but this model actually has a bi-directional rotating bezel, something that the Stowa fliegers have not had until now.
This model is designed to comply with the “technical standard og pilot watches” or TESTAF certification.

I always enjoy Stowa watches, and this one looks like a very interesting watch to have .
Price is from 1.260 euros, or 1058 euros for those outside of the EU.

They have one model as of now, and that is a diver/pilot hybrid.
Automatic Seagull movement, sapphire crystal, C3 lume, 300 meter water resistance and so on.
Pricing seems to be very moderate at 319 $US.
Interesting design that looks incredibly solid.

I found this video on the Stowa facebook page, and its a short video of their Marine Original.
The Marine Original is a beautiful watch, but wait until you see the movement in the video.
The hand wound Durowe 7440 movement, Stowas modified Unitas 6498 movement, is simply incredible in the video.
